Rachel Ryan

I am a mother of 3 children; my twins are July 2021 Pope Paul Leavers and my elder daughter also attended the school. I am a registered pharmacist and worked in retail and hospital pharmacy before moving into medical publishing in 1997.

Currently I manage a team who write clinical content for triage systems (like NHS England’s 111 line). I hope I can put the strengths and skills I have gained from my management, healthcare, publishing, and parenting experience to good use as a governor at Pope Paul. I really want to be able to give back to the school that has given so much to my children over the last 12 years. My aim is to help to continue and build on the fantastic work done to provide the children with an excellent education and enriching spiritual life. In my spare time I like to keep fit at the gym, go to the theatre and cinema, see friends and family, and, I have to admit, watch TV!
